Translate Captions and Metadata to Your Selected Languages

Here’s how to begin translating your captions and metadata.

Step 1: Create a New Translation

On the upper-right corner, click ‘New’ to start translating captions and metadata. Click Manage Video.

Step 2: Upload Your Video

Click the dropdown arrow to view all the available methods for importing a video.

Select Upload from your computer.

Click on the ‘Upload Box’ to open computer’s file manager.

Choose the video you want to translate captions and metadata for.

Step 3: Import the File

Once the file is ready, click the Import button to upload it.

Step 4: Choose Captions and Metadata

Select Captions and Metadata, choose the language you want the caption to be translated into, and then click Continue.

On the next screen, click Continue to Edit Interface.

You’ll be taken to the Languages and Translations screen, where you’ll see a processing status.

Step 6: Confirm and Download the Translation

Once the process is complete, a blue check mark will appear above. You’ll also see that the caption has been translated into the language you selected. To download the caption file, simply click the download icon in the lower-right corner.

That’s all—your translations are complete and ready to use.
