Promos vs Shorts vs Clips

In the Studio Shorts tab you switch between three output types. The same choices appear in the create-shorts wizard.

Generate buttons match the mode: Generate Shorts, Generate Promos, Generate Clips.
Duration gates
Section titled “Duration gates”- Shorts (and related generation): source video must be longer than 3 minutes. Shorter projects show that Shorts generation is unavailable.
- Clips: needs a longer source (on the order of 10+ minutes depending on minimum clip length). The UI shows a too-short message when the source cannot support Clips.
