How to Import a Video from YouTube

Importing videos directly from YouTube is the easiest way to translate and host your existing YouTube content on the Braiv platform without having to manually download and re-upload large video files.

Here is the step-by-step workflow:

1. Start a New Video Import

1. Log in to your Braiv account dashboard.
2. In the top-right corner of the screen, click on the NEW button.

3. A menu will appear, choose Audio/Video Project.

2. Copy Your YouTube Video URL

1. Open YouTube in a new browser tab.
2. Select the video you want to import.
3. Copy the full video URL from your browser’s address bar (or click “Share” under the video and copy the share link).

3. Select YouTube Upload Option and Paste URL

1. Go back to your Braiv dashboard’s Import screen.
2. From the top navigation upload options, select YouTube.

3. Paste your copied YouTube URL into the link input box.

4. Click the IMPORT button to load the video.
