How to Generate a Thumbnail for Your Video in Braiv
Generate clickable covers from your project’s video context in the Studio Thumbnail tab (or the Thumbnails hub).
Generate a thumbnail
Section titled “Generate a thumbnail”- Open the project from the Project Library.
- Open the Thumbnail tab.
- Start generation (for example Generate, or flows labeled for edit / score / fix depending on your entry point).
- Use option chips when offered — for example Characters, Style, Brand, Moments, Overlay, Layout — to steer the look. See Characters and references for the Characters chip.
- Wait for processing to finish. Download the result or Set as Primary so it becomes the cover when you publish to YouTube.
Many projects also get a zero-prompt thumbnail from Auto Packaging during create. You can still regenerate or replace covers here.
Improve CTR
Section titled “Improve CTR”Use Thumbnail Score and Fix to score a cover and apply Fix.
Publish with your cover
Section titled “Publish with your cover”After setting a primary thumbnail, publish with Publish Video to External Platforms or bulk publish.
