What are AI Credits & how do they work?

AI Credits are the currency used within the Braiv platform to perform a variety of AI-driven processes—for example voice-cloned dubbing, lip-sync, shorts, and other AI features.

When you translate and voice-clone a video into a language, credits scale with:

• Length of the source video (in minutes)
• Number of languages you generate
• Quality tier you choose:
  • Braiv Dubbing Premium — 24 credits per minute (per language)
  • Braiv Dubbing Plus — 18 credits per minute (per language)

You can track your credit amounts in 2 places:

1. The “Plan & Usage” overlay in the left navigation bar

   

2. In the “Plan” section within the Braiv Settings

   

You can add credits to your account by either subscribing to one of Braivs affordable Subscription plans, or you can purchase on-demand by purchasing an AI Credit Top-up pack.

Should a user run out of AI Credits or try to process a video dubbing request without the required amount of AI Credits available, they will be alerted and prompted to purchase more credits before proceeding.
