Languages Panel Outcomes

The Languages tab in Braiv Studio is where you add languages and choose how each language is produced. This article maps the main outcomes — not a full create-wizard walkthrough.
Where it lives
Section titled “Where it lives”Open a project → Languages. From here you manage source captions, target languages, speakers, regenerations, and AI lipsync.
Common outcomes
Section titled “Common outcomes”Captions & metadata only
Section titled “Captions & metadata only”Translate captions (and related metadata) without a full voice-cloned dub. Use when you need localized subtitles / SEO text first. See Translate Captions & Metadata.
Voice-cloned dubbing (Premium or Plus)
Section titled “Voice-cloned dubbing (Premium or Plus)”Clone the original speaker into target languages with editable transcripts. Choose Braiv Dubbing Premium or Plus when you set languages:
- Premium vs Plus — quality, speed, accents, credits
- Voice Cloned Dubbing — end-to-end create flow
AI voices / expressive speech paths
Section titled “AI voices / expressive speech paths”Some flows use Braiv Speech–powered voices (including Plus dubbing and standalone Text to Speech). Use Speech when you need playground narration, voice design, or expressive tags outside a full video dub.
After a language exists
Section titled “After a language exists”- Edit captions with Find & Replace and regenerate dubs as needed.
- Preview flags in the player — Viewing Translations in Braiv Player.
- Export audio/captions from Languages or Studio Download.
