Optimize Existing Channel Videos

Once a YouTube channel is connected, open it from Channels to improve videos that are already live.
Open a channel
Section titled “Open a channel”- Go to Channels in the left sidebar.
- Select the channel you want to work on. The header shows Optimize with that channel’s name.
- Use the Long form and Shorts filters to focus the list.
Score and improve a video
Section titled “Score and improve a video”- Open a video card to see its optimization score and details for title, description, and thumbnail.
- Use Fix (or the matching improve actions) to generate better drafts.
- When you are happy with a draft, Sync to YouTube to push the update back to the live video.
- For deeper work (dubbing, Shorts, full Studio packaging), choose Import for Advanced Optimization (or Manage Video) to bring the video into a Braiv project.
Recommended Actions
Section titled “Recommended Actions”On the channel page, Recommended Actions highlights high-impact opportunities, such as:
- Titles need improvement → Improve titles →
- Descriptions need improvement → Improve descriptions →
- Thumbnails need improvement → Improve thumbnails →
- Great candidates for Shorts → Create Shorts →
- Videos only supporting one language → Add languages →
Use these shortcuts to jump into the highest-value fixes first.
Load more and free-tier limits
Section titled “Load more and free-tier limits”- Load More Videos pages through the scored catalog.
- On free or limited access, only a small number of videos may be unlockable for optimize. Loading more of the catalog, or optimizing locked cards, may prompt you to upgrade (Upgrade to load more videos / Subscribe to Optimize).
Channel settings
Section titled “Channel settings”From the channel header you can open Channel Settings to manage language structure, metadata preferences, and related options, including publishing changes back to YouTube when applicable.
