Here’s how to generate a thumbnail for your video in Braiv.
Step 1: Select the Video
From your video library, select the video you want to generate a thumbnail for.
Step 2: Access the Thumbnail Option
You’ll land on the Languages and Translations screen — from the left-hand menu, click “Thumbnail.”
Right after clicking on “Thumbnail,” Braiv will generate 3 suggested prompts automatically.
These prompts are used to create the thumbnail based on the video transcript. You can choose from the suggested prompts or write your own.
If you prefer to create your own, simply type your prompt in the box at the bottom.
Step 3: Choose a Prompt and Generate the Thumbnail
For this demo, we’ll select one of the pre-generated prompts. Once selected, the same prompt will appear in the box at the bottom. After that, click the “Generate” button to start the process.
The generation will start immediately, and you’ll see a status at the top indicating “Processing.”
Once the process is complete, a blue checkmark will appear at the top, and the generated thumbnail will be displayed.
Below the thumbnail, you’ll see two buttons: Download and Set as Primary. You can download the thumbnail to save it for future use, or set it as Primary, which means it will be the default thumbnail when you publish the video from Braiv to your YouTube channel.
We also have a demo on how to publish videos from Braiv to YouTube, so check that out for more information.
To finalize this demo, we’ll set the generated thumbnail as Primary by clicking the “Set as Primary” button.
That’s it for this demo! You now know how to generate and set a thumbnail in Braiv. Don’t forget to check out our other demos for more helpful features.
