Here’s a simple guide on how to do it.
Step 1: Select Video
Navigate to your video library and select the video you want to apply the lip-sync feature to.
Step 2: Language and Voice Setup
The French audio in this demo was created using AI Voice Dubbing, which necessitated the manual selection of a predetermined voice that matched the project's requirements for the French language.
For maximum efficiency and authenticity, our advanced Braiv Dubbing (Voice Cloning) technology is available. Using that service streamlines this process completely—it clones the original speaker's voice directly, removing the need for any voice assignment or selection steps.
NOTE: The Lip-Sync Feature unlocks only after your video is dubbed in Braiv (using any dubbing type) and confirms it is less than 10 minutes long (which is the current maximum length for lip-sync). We are actively working to support longer videos in future updates!
Step 3: Access Lip-Sync
You will know the feature is active because the button will be highlighted in purple.
Step 4: Generate Lip-Sync
Once you click the Lip-Sync button, a pop-up screen appears for final confirmation and settings.
Language Selection: This screen defaults to the language the video was just dubbed into (e.g., French). If you dubbed the video into multiple languages, use the dropdown menu to select the specific dubbed version you want to proceed with.
Quality & Cost: You must now choose between the Standard and Premium lip-sync options. The screen clearly displays the required credit cost for the feature. (For this demo, we are selecting the Standard option.)
CRITICAL WARNING: It is highly recommended that you are completely satisfied with the current translation, as the final lip-synced video output cannot be edited afterward.
When all settings are confirmed, click the Generate Lipsync Button.
Step 5: Wait for Completion
Once you click the Generate Lipsync Button, a box will appear confirming: "Lipsync initiated successfully."
The app will redirect you to the Language and Translation page, where you will see the "Processing" status clearly displayed above the dubbing details.
Once processing is complete, the status will update, and you will see a blue check mark, indicating the lip-sync process is fully finished and ready for viewing.
Final Step: Playback
Since the lip-sync process is complete, you can now view the result. Navigate to the video player in the right-hand corner. Hover over the player to reveal the settings, select the language you used for dubbing by clicking on the corresponding flag icon in the player controls. Click play to see the final synchronized output.
Congratulations! You can now share your fully lip-synced video with the world.
