Here's a simple guide on how to do it:

1. Start by selecting the video whose transcript you’d like to edit.

You’ll see a transcript screen displaying the segments for both the Original Source Transcript and the Translated Transcript. Each portion of text in these sections is called a Segment, as shown below.”

2. Select the segment you want to edit, make your changes, and click the Save button. The system will then process and apply your updates automatically.

For this example we just change one of the segments in the Original Transcript.

3. Click Regenerate.

Please note that AI credits are not consumed when editing individual segments. This action only updates the translated segments (AI dub) and does not affect the original source language audio.

The system will begin processing, which may take a few minutes. A status indicator will appear at the top to show that your changes are being applied.

When processing is complete, a blue check mark will appear at the top to confirm your changes have been applied. You’ll also notice that the dubbed language has been updated.

  • Things to note:

    • If you edit a segment in the Original Source transcript, the corresponding Translated Transcript segment will be automatically re-translated and re-dubbed.

    • If you edit a Translated Transcript segment, it will automatically regenerate the dubbing for that segment without altering the Original Source transcript.

    • When you edit specific segments, only those segments will be re-dubbed. The rest of the transcript remains unchanged.
