Here is how to import your Youtube videos and translated to other languages.

  1. Upon log in to your Braiv account, on the upper right click NEW Button.

2. There will be 2 options: Video Translation or Document Translation, choose the one you wanted to translate. For this example we are translating a video so we chose Video Translation.

3. It will then take you to another page. You have three (3) ways to import your video: Upload from your computer, Import from Youtube and Import from Dropbox link. For this step-by-step instruction we are choosing the Import from a public Youtube URL.

4. You'll get a URL box where you need to put the URL of the video from YouTube.

4. Go to the Youtube Channel and Select the video you want to translate. Copy the URL from YouTube. The URL is located at the upper-middle part of the browser. Example as shown below:

5. Go back to Braiv then Paste the URL in the box then click Import.

6. You'll have the Language & Translation options screen. From there you have to select the items below with arrow.

For TARGET LANGUAGES it would be either of the two (2) depending on what you prefer.

  • Auto-detect source language is the original audio of the file you are translating. The system will automatically detect it for you but it is HIGHLY suggested to manually select it if you know the language.

  • Number of speakers are the total number of speakers on the audio. Same with language, it is automatically detected but also HIGHLY suggested to manually set it.

  • Voice cloning as described on the maintain the original speaker emotion & intonation.

There are two (2) options for Voice Cloning.

A. BRAIV DUBBING

B. AUTO DUBBING

  • AI voices will assign voices to speakers after dubbing process has completed.

For this tutorial we will choose to use the AI Voices for dubbing as shown on the example below.

>>>> Click Continue

7. It will then upload the file. Once file reaches 100%, click the CONTINUE.

8. Processing page will appear.

9. Then you'll be on the Language and Translations page where you would see on the upper portion that it is PROCESSING. You can click on where it says processing to see how it's going.

10. Once done processing you will see the Captions for the original language of the video and the language you chose to translate it to. You'll also see a blue check mark above indicating it is done with the translation.

You can opt to download the AUDIO even without the assign AI voice or the CAPTION on the lower right-hand side of the screen.

But for this example tutorial we are going to assign an AI voice. So right under where it says Spanish, click on Assign then you'll see number of AI voices to choose from.

11. You can listen to the audio by clicking on the play button to choose your preference voice then select it.

12. You'll see the name of the AI voice you assigned then Click on Save Button.

13. Click Regenerate.

14. It will then process your chosen AI voice. You can click where it says processing to know the status of it.

Here is what it looks like when you click on Processing.

15. Once done processing, a Blue check mark will appear above means it is finished and it is available for download. Download it on the lower-right hand side.

Note: The image above shows the video is already translated to multiple languages. Check out the article for adding Additional Languages for more info.
